There are two main works of Sufi wisdom and Saint anecdotes: One is “Nefahat” by Hazrat Mevlana Jami, and the other is “Resahat” by Hazrat Sheikh Safiyüddin... The first of these constitutes the source of material for my work called “Halkadan Piriltilar” and the sunnah that I mentioned from that source takes shape, becomes colored in my spiritual vessel and thus gains an independent meaning; “Resahat”, which I only condensed and named as is, is a kind of translation attempt that I simplified from the original. But it is such a translation that it invites its author to express himself in my Turkish and style... Behind the real-life hero that Sheikh Safiyüddin Hazretleri described as "Poor Safi, you are a dog whose one leg has been burned, and you are running after that glorious caravan with your three legs", I am the dog that came after Sheikh Safi...
